Dr. Kirpa Johar is the Founder of the KJO Laser Therapy Academy, an institution established in 2012 and recognised across the Asian subcontinent for its excellence in laser dentistry education.

A Legacy of Clinical Practice
In 2006, Dr. Johar founded Dr. Kirpa Johar Laser Therapy and Holistic Dentistry Clinic in Bengaluru, a specialty centre dedicated exclusively to advanced laser-based dental treatment. Over more than 20 years of clinical practice, he has treated over 3,000 laser cases across periodontics, endodontics, oral surgery, cosmetic dentistry, and photobiomodulation, building one of the most comprehensive records of laser dentistry practice in India.

Elevating the Profession
Recognising the gap between the clinical potential of laser dentistry and what most dentists were actually doing with their equipment, Dr. Johar established the KJO Laser Therapy Academy in 2012. Through his textbook, online certifications, and intensive clinical programmes, he has mentored a global alumni network of dentists now practising across more than 15 countries.

The Home Wellness Vision
After two decades of treating the same chronic conditions in the clinic, Dr. Johar recognised that a yearly appointment is not enough to manage conditions like gum disease or chronic pain. That recognition led to the HD Lase ecosystem. The HD Lase Dental and HD Lase Therapy devices bring the same 660nm therapeutic red light used in clinical laser therapy into the patient's home, for daily use, without medication or invasive procedures. Both are ISO and CDSCO licensed medical devices, made in India. HD stands for Healing Device.
